karin's art and sculptures: I sculpture in mixed media and laminated paper often using recycled fabrics and findings to create the finished piece. My sculptures have been likened to works by Beryl Cook and Niki de Saint Phalle. My ladies break the sterotypical expectations of woman in today's society by being reubenesque, agile, exuberant and ageless all at the same time.
